They should be called running shoes. I find them very comfortable for my arthritis in my feet.

Do you think this is a good option for a trip to Europe?

I bought these shoes ahead of a trip to Mexico City. These slip on shoes are so comfortable! My feet and I were super happy during my trip. I am thinking about buying these sneakers in a different color.
